Maureen posted this personality test link in her blog. She's somewhere between Sadam Hussein and JFK. I only took the test once because I liked the results. Who are you?
Alright Cardinals fans, how would you react to Barry Bonds in a Cardinals uniform?
I will add very little commentary to this article, except to say "way to go Dr. Hunter!"
According to this article in the online post-dispatch, Weaver is the "...most likely of the Cardinals' free-agent starters to return." That article also suggests that the Cardinals could accomodate Soriano's price tag, but apparently that is now dated information ... Soriano to Cubs.
Here's to hoping Weaver actually does sign with us...
...will be around for at least two more years . Spezio signed a 2 year contract with an option for 2009.
Okay, I don't really have anything to say. But I didn't want a dated entry to be front and center for months. I will post some pictures in a day or two. My family went and had our picture taken for our Christmas Cards. I'm very happy with the results...
Today is Veteran's day (actually I guess it's tomorrow, but apparently today is the observance of it). I don't think I've ever given Veteran's day much thought, probably because I'm not a veteran. I don't know why I'm giving it much thought today, except that I have some family members who are. It occurs to me more and more as I get older just how much I owe them. Whatever my political views or views of war, veterans served out of a sense of duty, pride, and patriotism. I enjoy my lifestyle largely because of the efforts of these veterans. So this is for you

THANK YOU!
Do you think sarcasm is a spiritual gift? Probably not. That's too bad, because I seem to be filled with it. How about cynicism? I don't seem to be short on that either. If I could just figure out how to harness my cynicism and sarcasm to be used for the greater good...
Maybe it's just a sign of a well-functioning brain... whyfiles
Okay people, can we please get something straight. More often than not, I see people use the word "loose" when they mean "lose". "Lose" is a verb that means to misplace or otherwise find yourself without something you once had. "Loose" is an adjective that generally describes something that is not tight or taut.
I hope not to normally be this irritable, it's just one of those things that bugs me when I see the misuse of the word "loose".
Have a great day!
