I'm Sore
Not sore as in mad at someone/something...sore as in physically sore. I know, you're probably saying, "Big deal!" In actuality it's probably not a big deal but I never knew you could get sore from vomiting. Now you're probably saying.."Yeah, thanks for that visual." heheh. Here's what happened. This past Thursday night, Austin woke up vomiting on two separate occasions. I stayed up with him after the second one and he finally went back to sleep. I stayed up and then stayed home with him on Friday. By the end of that day he was doing alot better and Saturday he was back to normal. Jennifer's mom and stepdad were in town and on Saturday evening we all went with Tom, Gretchen, Levi, and Emily to the Flying Machine for dinner and to watch planes take off and land from the Gwinnett Airport. Austin loves planes and helicopters so we thought it would be a blast. We all had a good time but....late Saturday night, early Sunday morning, it was my turn to be up vomiting. A good 20-30 minutes I was in the bathroom doing this. I wasn't really feeling better the rest of Sunday and only really feel about 100% as of today. Yesterday though I noticed that across about the middle to upper part of my back I was really sore if I took a deep breath. I could not figure out why I would be sore there. I told Jen about it and she said that it was probably from my episode on Saturday night. I guess I've never thrown up bad enough before that it's made my whole upper body sore because today the soreness now includes my chest and ribs. It would have made sense to me if my stomach muscles were sore...not my upper body. I guess you do learn something new everyday...although I would have rather not learned about this one first hand.

Poor Austin, sweet baby. I hope he feels better.
You could be sore because of the position you were in when you were vomiting. I'm not joking. A friend of mine went to her doctor because the day after she was violently ill, she had black eyes! Shiners! Her doctor told her that if she thinks she's going to be sick, has the tiniest inkling, to go sit on the floor and hug the throne and relax.
I must be a natural. I remember many a night hugging that cold porcelain.
